Youth Homelessness & Outreach Support (YHOST)
Interested?
The Youth Homelessness & Outreach Support (YHOST) offers centre-based support for young people able to access our Miami Hub. For those unable to travel to our Miami Hub for whatever reason, our Mobile Support Service (MSS) will visit those young people in a place that is convenient to them. Both programs work collaboratively with a wide range of service providers to co-locate and enhance ease of access for young people in need.
GCYS programs provide both interim and longer term case management support with the aim of reducing the number of young people who are homeless, or who may experience homelessness, by helping them to:
- Obtain Housing.
- Maintain their housing.
- Maximise their capacity to be independent, self-reliant and connected to appropriate social and community supports.
*The Youth Homelessness & Outreach Support (YHOST) is a joint Commonwealth and State initiative administered through the QLD Department of Housing & Public Works.

Our Values
Social justice is about young people receiving a ‘fair go’ at the opportunities in life. It is about recognising that we are all different and respecting the inclusion and tolerance of all.
