Funded under the Safe Night Out Strategy, The Chill Out Zone is an immediate care service operating from mobile support vans in Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. The service is staffed by professionals in various fields, and works to minimize harm to individuals who come to our late night precincts.
The Chill Out Zone is a project of the Gold Coast Youth Service, and funded by the Queensland Government through the Department of Communities.
The Chill Out Zone service operates each Friday and Saturday night from 10.30 pm to 4.30 am. Please visit our separate website for more about who we are and how we help.

Our Values
Social justice is about young people receiving a ‘fair go’ at the opportunities in life. It is about recognising that we are all different and respecting the inclusion and tolerance of all.
