Susie started her career 25 years ago as a youth worker at GCYS, before moving into social policy projects with the Department of Communities, including developing the model for the GC Youth at Risk Alliance.
She was the founder of 2 successful businesses supporting community organisations, ProCare Australia, a national recruitment agency, and JS Data, a software company. She has been a trusted business partner to hundreds of community services and government departments across Australia.
Susie has worked as a consultant and board advisor and is currently a general manager for the Home Care Workforce Support Program.
Now the mum of a teenager, she has a new respect for helping young people become independent. Susie is thrilled to return to the GCYS as a member of the management committee.
