Youth Accommodation Program (YAP)
The Youth Accommodation Program (YAP) forms part of the Housing & Support Program.
Interested?
YAP is an externally supported transitional housing program for young people aged 16 to 21 years, & young families aged 16 to 25 years, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Participation in YAP is based on a duration of need and not a specified timeframe. Whilst residing with us, residents need to commit to actively engage in case management and tenancy support to address barriers, and enhance skills needed, to obtain and sustain a tenancy in the private or social housing sectors. Referral to additional specialist service providers may also form part of their case planning.
Please call GCYS to check for vacancy availability before making application for YAP.
